In grandmother’s womb

an egg follicle

in mother’s ovary

a volcano

medusal

in the crevices  of sea caves

hear the song call  of desire 

lapping at the lips   licking at edges

nourish the shadows  within which exist 

a craving for flesh

passionate dis truction traction

strangely fertile  bursting

into flower  infinite forms  oil-spilling

conception

of an inconceivable extinction

lapping waters        swallow

rock hollows

mermaids

bleeding or breastfeeding

action as

a mystical state of

seduction 

rupture                    ethos –

motion.
